Quality Care in Washington Court House
Our Commitment Excellence at Fayette County Memorial Hospital
At Fayette County Memorial Hospital, we strive to provide superior quality
care to our patients. We continually monitor our performance by tracking
specific quality measures and then compare them to national benchmark
measures so we can determine our opportunities for improvement. Our outcomes
are voluntarily reported and the most current posted results can be found
on the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services website.
To define quality in healthcare is difficult. However, we do strive to
meet all aspects of quality care as reported by the Institute of Medicine;
healthcare should be safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable/available
to everyone, and patient centered. Teams of physicians/midlevel providers,
nurses, ancillary team members (such as lab and radiology), and support
staff collaborate to assist each patient in developing a plan of care
that will meet their needs as they recover from their illness or injury.
This is just one way that our organization displays our values of putting
the patient first, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Patient Satisfaction Survey
During your visit to Fayette County Memorial Hospital, you may have been
asked to complete a patient satisfaction survey. Please know that if you
were admitted to our hospital, you will also be receiving a survey in
the mail. This is a different survey from the one completed before discharge.
We would greatly appreciate your participation in this second survey as well.
Both surveys are conducted by outside companies which provide us an overall
report of our patient satisfaction. Your comments are valuable to us and
we use this information to determine what improvement opportunities we
have in order to make your visit to our hospital a positive experience.
