Fayette County Memorial Hospital (FCMH) is excited to announce a partnership
with Adena Bone and Joint Center to expand current Orthopedic offerings
effective August 1, 2017.
FCMH has collaborated with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center
(OSUWMC) for Orthopedics since April 2014. This partnership has yielded
a solid foundation to our Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Program. Over
time, we have realized a demographic need for general orthopedics over
and above our current sports medicine offerings. General orthopedics would
allow us to perform more surgeries and procedures at FCMH thus improving
our ability to expand the amount of ‘close to home’ care we
are able to provide our patients. We appreciate the partnership that we
have developed with OSUWMC but look forward to being able to provide more
services through an expanded partnership with Adena Bone and Joint Center.
OSUWMC will see patients until the end of July 2017. Existing patients
will be offered the option of transitioning to an Adena Bone and Joint
Center physician or remaining with their current physician at a different location.
FCMH and Adena Bone and Joint Center teamed up many years ago and had great
success and patient outcomes. We look forward to meeting and exceeding
the needs of our community through this orthopedic venture. Adena Bone
and Joint Center will be operating out of Medical Arts Building 1, Suite
201. Adena Bone and Joint Center accepts most insurances including MediGold.
At this time, four Adena Bone and Joint Center providers will be coming
to the FCMH campus.
More information regarding an open house and a chance to meet the providers
will be planned in the near future.
