Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Registrars act as a first point of patient service and interaction, ensuring that patients and family members receive excellent customer service in a timely manner. Interviews patients to obtain accurate and complete personal and insurance information needed to complete outpatient and inpatient registrations.

Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

PC proficiency, excellent customer service skills, accurate and strong keyboarding skills, communication skills, teamwork, the ability to multitask and work in a fast faced environment, ability to balance a cash drawer, great interdepartmental communication, use of fax machine, copier, scanner, use of multi-line phone system and ability to direct calls.
