"Family-Centered Maternity Care"

We work with a team of highly trained professionals including obstetrical physicians and a nursing staff, many of which hold special credentials and/or certifications. In addition, Fayette County Memorial Hospital has access to a complement of specialists to address any special health care need that may arise.

Our nurses believe in using an "Active Nursing Approach" at the bedside. They provide comfort measures such as massage, breathing and relaxing techniques, and frequent position changes and many other techniques, all to help provide a successful birthing experience. Rest assured that our staff will be with you every step of the way, helping you through labor, delivery, and providing lots of teaching about you and your baby's needs. They love sharing in the miracle of life and helping you welcome the newest addition to your family.

Quality Nursing. Great quality begins with great care. We rely on everyone at FCMH to deliver great care, but our nurses are especially key to delivering the kind of care you expect.
